Traffic Signs Test Online – Free E-Sign Test Practice for Driving Licence:

If you are applying for a driving licence anywhere in Pakistan, the traffic signs test is the first hurdle — and the one most people fail on their first visit. Not because the signs are difficult, but because they walk in without ever seeing the computerized test format. What is the E-Sign Test?

The E-Sign test is the computerized theory test you must pass before your practical driving test.   1. Study first. Open “View all traffic signs” above and go through every sign with its meaning. Notice the pattern: triangles warn, circles command, rectangles inform.
  2. Practise with feedback. Run Practical mode. Every answer turns green or red instantly with a short explanation, and the question is read aloud — the same way many centres play Urdu audio for each question.
  3. Sit the mock test. Take the timed 20-question test until you score 80% or higher consistently. The real pass mark is easier than that, so you’ll walk in with margin to spare.

The Three Categories of Traffic Signs in Pakistan :

Warning signs (احتیاطی اشارے): red-bordered triangles that alert you to danger ahead — sharp bends, slippery roads, railway crossings, children crossing, steep descents. On the test, these are the most frequently asked category.

Mandatory and prohibitory signs (لازمی اشارے): circles. A red-bordered circle prohibits (no entry, no overtaking, no U-turn, speed limits); a blue circle commands (turn left, keep left, compulsory roundabout). Confusing “no right turn” with “no U-turn” is the single most common mistake — practise these pairs until automatic.

Informatory signs (معلوماتی اشارے): rectangles and blue boards that guide you — hospital, petrol pump, parking, one-way road, bus stop, first aid. These are easy marks if you have simply seen them once.

Which Cities and Authorities Does This Apply To?

The sign test format is nearly identical across Pakistan. Whether your test is conducted by DLIMS Punjab  or Punjab Police (Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot), Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP), Sindh Police (Karachi, Hyderabad), KPK Traffic Police (Peshawar), or the National Highways & Motorway Police, the signs and their meanings are the same standardised set.
