HOW TO APPLY FOR A DRIVING LICENSE IN KPK?

While driving license renewal services are being offered in every region/city of KPK, Peshawar is where you can apply for a new driving license in KPK. Here are some of the services being offered by City Traffic Police, Peshawar for licensing of legal drivers:

Below, we'll go over each of these services in more detail, including how you can use them.

LEARNER’S PERMIT :

Requirement :

Any individual above the age of 18 can apply for a learning license in KPK with the following documents:

• Copy of CNIC of the concerned individual
• Fee Deposit Slip
• Medical Form signed by an authorized doctor

Procedure :

• Bring the documents listed above to the licensing centre.
• Fill out a form with your CNIC number, name, license type (car, motorcycle, LTV, HTV, etc.), date of birth, father's name, current address, and other information.
• Go to the doctor to get your blood group, height, weight, and eyesight checked.
• Get your photo taken right away.
• Check all of the information you've given the appropriate authorities.
• Following verification, the learner's permit will be printed.

Fees :

A learner's permit in the province will cost you between PKR 125 and PKR 250.

PERMANENT LICENCE:

To convert your learner's permit into a permanent driving license in KPK, you must pass a test after at least 42 days.

Requirement :

The following documents are required

• Copy of your CNIC
• Original Learner’s Permit
• Medical Form
• Fee Deposit Slip
• Signed Test Page (confirming that you’ve passed it)

Procedure :

• To register for the test, go to the licensing centre.
• Pass the medical exam and fill up the necessary paperwork.
• The date, time, and place of the driving test will subsequently be printed on a printed page.
• After passing the exam, you must go through biometric and signature verification at the licensing centre.
• Then you will be given a receipt and told when you may pick up your driving permit.

Fees :

The application process for a driving license in KPK might cost between PKR 600 and PKR 1,200. Please keep in mind that there will be a separate price for the exam, which must be repaid for each attempt at passing the driving test.

LICENCE RENEWAL:

DUPLICATE LICENCE:

If you’re driving license is lost or stolen, you must attend a licensing centre with the necessary papers to obtain a duplicate driving permit in your name:

• Copy of your CNIC
• A legal stamp paper
• FIR of the license being lost
• Fee Deposit Slip

Procedure :

• Fill the form for issuance of a duplicate license.
• Submit the form and the documents at the licensing centre to get your driving permit.
